~~ALL payments must be MAILED in, there is no one at the Community Center to take payments on a daily basis. The center is run completely by volunteers. There is no one to "Drop" your check off to. Mail your payments in time to meet ALL deadlines.
~~For all events & functions a $100 deposit must be secured within 10 days of booking to hold your date. You will receive this deposit back after your event provided there are no damages to any part of the building or the grounds surrounding the building and no additional clean up is required by us. This may be provided in cash or a check made payable to Woodlawn Community Center.
~~All rental fees MUST be paid before your event at least 2 weeks prior. The building will not be unlocked if your rental fee has not been received and cleared by your bank. (Please make sure we receive your check in time for it to clear the bank BEFORE your rental date) To avoid the wait time of clearing a check, please make your payment by certified check.
~~Bounced Check Fee $25.00
~~If you book a date and put down your deposit, you may cancel one month in advance and get your entire deposit back. Any cancellations less than that will forfeit 35% of your deposit, to make up for lost rentals, due to holding your date.
~~Mornings 8:30 am - 11:00am $30.00
Noon 12:00pm - 3pm $45.00
Evenings 4:00pm - 8pm $65.00
Friday & Saturday rentals require a minimum of 4hrs for $65
Each additional hour needed will be charged at $10.00 an hour.
~~~~~PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE ANY SET UP AND BREAKDOWN/CLEAN UP TIME IN YOUR TIME NEEDED. (I.E. PARTY STARTS AT 6PM UNTIL 10 PM YOU NEED TO BE IN BUILDING AT 4PM TO DECORATE AND WILL NOT VACATE BUILDING UNTIL 12 MIDNIGHT THAT IS 8 TOTAL HOURS SO YOUR RENTAL FEE WOULD BE $105.00) AFTER DECIDING YOUR HOURS AND PAYING YOUR RENTAL FEE DO NOT ASK TO BE "LET IN EARLY" WITHOUT EXPECTING TO PAY ADDITIONAL FEES THAT WILL BE DUE. WE ASK THAT YOU INCLUDE ALL THE TIME YOU NEED IN YOUR ORIGINAL CONTRACT & FEE . IF YOUR TIME NEEDS CHANGE, PLEASE INFORM US IN AMPLE TIME TO TAKE CARE OF ANY ADDITIONAL FEES THAT WILL BE DUE~~~
****If you are interested in teaching a class at the community center Time is available Monday -Friday daytime, and Monday - Thursday evenings. No Friday Night Classes.
Fees are as follows:
$15.00 per class session of 1 - 3 hours if you book one class per week. ( 3 hours)
$12.00 per class session of 1 -3 hours if you book 4 or more days a week. (12 or more hours)
$10.00 per class session of 1 - 2 hours if you book 4 or more days for an entire month. (32 or more hours)

ENTIRE DAY RENTALS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
An entire day from 8am until midnight.........$175.00
An entire weekend from 4pm Friday until midnight Saturday......$250.00
To include Sunday also an additional $75.00 for a total of $325.00

If you are in need of any rental times not addressed here PLEASE ASK US for special consideration we will look at each request on a case by case basis.
Again.....Please do not ask to get into the building "early" . You must include all the time you need to be in the building or any of the time that your function occupies the building. If you want to set up the night before , that is allowed but you MUST pay for that night's rental plus the next day until the end of your function and clean up.
Please do not ask us for a key. The building will be unlocked for you 15 minutes before your scheduled arrival time.
***Our fees are the lowest in Alamance County , for us to provide these rates all rules and regulations must be strictly followed. Please adhere to them, and thank you for understanding.
